Margaux's 3rd week in Dublin

Monday 23/06
Three weeks already since this adventure started, and it's going on today!
I kicked off this third week by making bracelets. First, I cut the thread to the right length, then patiently threaded the beads. I used a model as a reference, added a bead to hide the knot, closed the bracelet, and put the ends into the pliars so I could apply the glue. Once the glue dried, I trimmed the excess thread and glued the final bead on top to hide the knot nicely.
I spent the whole day working on this meticulous activity.
Tuesday 24/06
This morning, change of mission: preparing boxes for the scarves! I stuck the labels on, folded the paper carefully, and packed the scarves inside. I closed everything up, leaving a little bit sticking out so we could tell which box matched which scarf. Then I put stickers on the candle boxes—it was pretty fun.
In the afternoon, I did some finishing on the crosses and then on a bracelet.
After that, time to head home!
Wednesday 25/06
This morning, I folded one scarf of each design for a change.
Then I cleaned some beautiful jewelry before moving on to adding beads to bracelets with Claudia. Later, she asked me to look for a paper with a client’s name—mission accomplished! After my break, she had me look for another name, but even she couldn’t find it in the end.
We wrapped up the day by cleaning some stunning jewelry. It was great!
Thursday 26/06
In the morning, a bit of finishing to start the day.
Then Claudia asked us to pick a “bomber” ring we liked. I started making mine: tracing, filing, cutting, shaping…I began working on the base enthusiastically.
In the afternoon, I continued at a steady pace.
Friday 27/06
Today, I picked up right where I left off with my wax ring. In the morning, I worked on shaping the top and creating a nice rope effect.
At the end of the afternoon, I hollowed out the inside of the ring.
After work, time for a treat: we went out for a drink at a restaurant. The mocktail was absolutely delicious!
Saturday 28/06
At 11am, we set off for the Fairy Trail. It was really pretty, even though I was expecting a few more surprises. It was still a lovely experience.
After that, we visited the Butterfly House with gorgeous butterflies. One of them even landed on me—I didn’t dare move!
After lunch, a bit of shopping and then back home.
It was a fantastic day!
Sunday 29/06
This Sunday morning, a well-deserved sleep-in, then off to Dublin for the Viking Splash Tour.
It was amazing! The driver was super funny—we laughed from start to finish.

Lundi 23/06
Trois semaines déjà que l’aventure a commencé, et ça continue toujours aujourd’hui !
J’ai attaqué cette troisième semaine en fabriquant des bracelets. D’abord, j’ai coupé un fil à la bonne longueur, puis j’ai enfilé les perles avec patience. Je me suis basée sur un modèle, j’ai ajouté une perle pour cacher le nœud, refermé le bracelet, et placé les extrémités dans les pinces pour pouvoir mettre la colle. Une fois la colle sèche, j’ai coupé le surplus de fil et collé la perle finale pour bien camoufler le nœud.
J’ai passé toute la journée sur cette activité minutieuse.
Mardi 24/06
Ce matin, changement de mission : préparation des boîtes pour les écharpes ! J’ai collé les étiquettes, plié le papier bien soigneusement et rangé les écharpes dedans. J’ai refermé le tout en laissant un petit bout dépasser, histoire de reconnaître chaque modèle. Ensuite, j’ai collé des stickers sur les boîtes de bougies, c’était plutôt sympa.
L’après-midi, j’ai fait un peu de “rattrapage de fonte” sur des croix et un bracelet.
Après ça, direction la maison !
Mercredi 25/06
Ce matin, j’ai plié une écharpe de chaque design pour varier les plaisirs.
Puis j’ai nettoyé de jolis bijoux avant de passer à l’atelier perles avec Claudia. Ensuite, elle m’a envoyé chercher un papier avec le nom d’un client… mission accomplie ! Après ma pause, elle m’a demandé de trouver un autre nom, mais même elle n’a jamais réussi à le retrouver.
On a terminé en nettoyant de magnifiques bijoux, c’était chouette.
Jeudi 26/06
Le matin, un peu de rattrapage de fonte pour bien commencer la journée.
Puis Claudia nous a proposé de choisir une bague “bomber” qu’on aimait bien. J’ai commencé à la fabriquer : tracer, limer, couper, donner forme… j’ai attaqué la base avec enthousiasme.
L’après-midi, j’ai continué tranquillement.
Vendredi 27/06
Aujourd’hui, j’ai repris ma bague en cire là où je l’avais laissée. Le matin, j’ai travaillé sur les formes sur le haut et j’ai fait un joli effet corde.
En fin d’après-midi, j’ai creusé l’intérieur de la bague pour l’évider.
Après le boulot, petite récompense : on est allé boire un verre dans un restaurant. Le mocktail était juste délicieux !
Samedi 28/06
À 11h, on est partis pour le Fairy Trail. C’était vraiment joli, même si je m’attendais à un peu plus de surprises. Ça reste une belle expérience.
Ensuite, on a visité la Butterfly House avec des papillons magnifiques. Il y en a même un qui s’est posé sur moi, je n’osais plus bouger !
Après le déjeuner, un peu de shopping et retour à la maison.
C’était une superbe journée !
Dimanche 29/06
Ce dimanche matin, grasse matinée bien méritée, puis direction Dublin pour le Viking Splash Tour.
C’était incroyable ! Le chauffeur était hyper drôle, on a bien rigolé du début à la fin.
